Job Description
The CFO is a senior member of the management staff with Wayne Alarm Systems, Inc, reporting to the V.P and President, and will sit at the executive level. This person is responsible for the accounting operations conducted in accordance with GAAP, management of the financial systems, production of timely financial reports, oversee cash management, and the safeguarding of corporate assets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have excellent financial, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office and G Suite is required.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide group of individuals – staff, vendors, and department managers.
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implementing a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Oversee the operations of the Admin, HR, & I.T. Departments, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, bank reconciliations, and I.T. processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and external accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities.
- Monitor financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Provide information and trend analysis as needed.
- Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the company's performance.
- Produce the annual budget and forecasts; report significant budget differences to management.
- Responsible for direct interaction with Bank personnel as well as preparing required bank reporting on a monthly & quarterly basis.
Job Requirements:
- Direct knowledge of payroll reporting, benefits (including 401K regulations) as well as Sales tax filings.
- Advanced computer software skills including Microsoft Office, with a high aptitude for Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for regular interaction with various Management teams.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Finance required.
- 10 years or more of related experience required.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
