An established, reputable, medium-sized firm (with offices in WA and OR) is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate, specifically one that has at least 3 years of experience with construction, contract, personal injury, premises liability, and/or other complex litigation.
Appellate and/or trial experience is a plus. The ideal candidate has the experience that demonstrates (a) excellent research, writing, and analytical skills; (b) attention to detail; (c) confidence in taking depositions and/or in presenting oral argument in the courtroom; and, importantly, (d) a strong desire to accelerate the learning process by becoming actively involved in the handling of complex cases. They will be motivated to accelerate their career growth by learning from partners who have an abundance of cases and a strong commitment to mentorship – and by taking active, leadership roles in handling cases and the development/maintenance of client relationships. The partner track is real, and the work environment is genuinely collaborative. This position can be either hybrid (3 days a week in either the Seattle or Portland offices) or fully remote.

Qualifications
- Three (3) plus years of litigation experience
- Civil litigation, insurance defense a plus
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Experience with a case management system
- Possess the ability to think strategically about cases and work collaboratively with other team members for the best interests of the client
- Able to manage competing priorities within a reasonable case load
- Ability to work as a team player, to work cooperatively with partners, legal assistants, and paralegals
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to Oregon State Bar Association
