How we LEAD:
The Production Senior Manager will be an essential part of Interscope Capitol Labels Group, creating and producing physical products that will drive margin. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Production. The main focus of this position will be physical production for catalog products (such as anniversary releases and box sets) and D2C releases, including releases created mainly for Interscope.com and the Interscope Vinyl Collective. There will be some digital production as well.
How you’ll CREATE:
- Develop time and action calendars to keep track of physical products that will go into development.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments (sales, marketing, D2C, production, A&R, creative, finance) to develop physical products for the release schedule.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing plants and printers when working on physical releases, both through UML channels and releases that are considered “label supplied.”
- Monitor production status of all products – from sample development (where applicable), gathering assets, working with creative and pre-press, dealing with manufacturing plants and UML through inception to order placement and shipment.
- Management of production timelines, reviewing reports and recommending solutions to exceptions.
- Set up and deliver digital releases associated with the physical products.
- When possible or applicable, help the frontline production team with digital and physical releases.
Bring your VIBE:
- 3-5 years of experience in production.
- Detail oriented with strong follow through - able to organize and prioritize multiple projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of physical manufacturing, printing, design and pre-press.
- Knowledge and understanding of digital production from gathering assets to publishing final digital releases.
- Knowledge and understanding of working with mastering studios to order masters and cut lacquers and with manufacturing plants.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Strong Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree.
