Engineering Digitization and PLM Manager (Accenture LLP; Minneapolis, MN): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Engineering Digitization and PLM Manager in Minneapolis, MN, and the job duties are as follows:
- Help customers evaluate, select and implement Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and tools to support the organization's needs.
- Responsible for developing and implementing the PLM strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the PLM processes in place through optimization of workflows, reduction of redundancies, and enhancing efficiency across all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication among clients and different teams involved to work together effectively.
- Oversee the management of product data and information through established data standards and enforce data governance to maintain data integrity.
- Manage projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources. Monitor project progress and resolve issues/roadblocks as they arise.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution delivery using 3DExperience software including designing the system architecture, data model, user interfaces, and integration to CAD, ERP, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES);
- MES involving the deployment of real-time data collection, tracking work-in-progress, and monitoring equipment and workforce;
- Integrating PLM, MES, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for managing product development, engineering, and manufacturing business functions;
- Defining the scope and objectives of the PLM implementation, including stakeholder identification, developing business cases, return of investment (ROI), and strategic alignment with the organization's goals;
- Planning and creating detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, data management, workflows, and integration needs; and
- Evaluating, performing market research, and selecting PLM software based on the organization's needs.
Must have 4 years of experience in cloud migration planning, executing, and migrating existing product data from legacy custom systems and spreadsheets into the PLM system.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
