Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to spearhead their sales operations and drive market expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, leading a diverse sales team, and significantly enhancing revenue growth across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that expand customer base and solidify existing customer relationships.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and develop new market opportunities.
- Lead, motivate, and support a high-performance sales team; set and monitor key performance metrics.
- Negotiate contracts with large clients and establish a framework for service-level agreements.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.
- Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain an ethical approach to sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales leadership, specifically in the food manufacturing or related industry.
- Proven track record of developing successful sales strategies and achieving revenue targets.
