Job Description:
Join a leading anesthesia provider in Chicago's vibrant Medical District as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments.
- Obtain and verify patient consent for procedures.
- Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients.
- Administer and manage anesthesia during induction, maintenance, and emergence phases.
- Monitor patient physiological conditions throughout procedures.
- Perform clinical interventions as needed.
- Case mix includes EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, and EUS procedures. Additional types of cases are available at sister locations.
Qualifications:
- Current license as a registered professional nurse.
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
- Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Professional Experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
