Our Fort Myers Team is looking for a full-time, Pediatric and Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join their growing team at the Gulf Coast of Florida. Comprehensive benefits, retirement, competitive compensation, and additional specialty compensation are offered.
Our pediatric opportunity offers up to 100% pediatric case mix including daily general surgery, ENT, and ortho with weekly pediatric endo, MRI, ophthalmology, plastics, dental and neurosurgery cases. Acuity is variable but there has been an increasing number of complex cases and neonatal surgeries. The practice consists of medical direction, care team model.
The cardiac case mix includes robust endovascular structural heart program (TAVR, MitraClips, TMVR, septal repairs), CABG, minimally invasive valve repairs and replacements, VATS, thoracotomies, thoracic AAA, ventricular assist devices. Cardiac ratios are 1:1 or 2:1 (mostly for flip purposes). You will be doing about 75-80% cardiac cases, the rest is a mix of general/endo/cath lab/OB.
Qualifications
- All USAP Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program.
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology.
- Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.
