Job Summary
Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Flex/PRN Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to join its Inpatient Neurology teams throughout the Hampton Roads Area.
Position highlights include:
- Scheduling by mutual agreement
- 100% Inpatient Responsibilities
- Duties: Neurology consultations to include chart review, data interpretation, obtaining a thorough H&P, formulating an assessment and plan, executing orders pertaining to the A&P and corresponding with other treatment teams
- Fully integrated EHR (Epic)

Minimum Requirements:
Requirements for this position include Virginia-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, a current unrestricted DEA license, and at least 1 year of experience in Neurology. Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision.

- MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - North Carolina
- Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Other/National
- Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
- Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - North Carolina Medical Board (NC)
- Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Other/National
