UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a non-invasive general Pediatric Cardiologist. The division of Pediatric Cardiology is adding a fifth member to our established team. We welcome and support physician caregivers from all Academic Ranks to apply and join us in our relentless pursuit of healing.
UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center (CMC) is Central Massachusetts' primary provider of general and specialty pediatric services. The CMC houses the region's only Pediatric ICU, Level III NICU, Pediatric Level 1 Trauma center, hospitalist led pediatric inpatient services, a pediatric sedation service, a designated Pediatric Emergency Department, and over 20 pediatric specialty services with a focus on high quality care, education, and academic excellence. We are very focused on our anchor mission to serve some of the most vulnerable pediatric patients in the Commonwealth.
About our Division:
- Work in a highly collegial setting where clinical care, imaging expertise, training the next generation of providers, and clinical research are valued.
- We provide outpatient and inpatient general pediatric cardiology services. The UMass CMC does not provide pediatric cardiothoracic surgery or invasive cardiology services. Invasive diagnostics and treatments are provided by our partner institutions in Boston.

Caregiver Requirements:
- Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Ability to obtain a medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Strong interest in clinical care, with skills in ECG interpretation, transthoracic and (preferably) fetal echocardiography, diagnostics, and medical management of congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac disease.
- Passionate for supporting the academic mission. We are educators for the UMass Chan Medical School and our own pediatric (24) and medicine/pediatric (16) residents.
- Provide evidence of research productivity as appropriate.
- Interest in caring for underserved and disadvantaged populations, with a mindset of promoting child health equity.
