The Manager/Sr Manager of Supply Chain manages the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. The role is responsible for procurement and planning globally for Quantum-Si working closely with all company stakeholders to ensure material availability and advancement of company objectives. They are responsible for leading coordination activities with procurement production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain and meet customer delivery expectations. Resolves bottlenecks or problem areas in the supply chain including global and local delivery/logistics challenges, inventory management and control.
As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:
- Lead process for demand forecasts inputs, supply planning and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy including preparing for and driving company-wide S&OP process.
- Develop high level production plans based on demand and available capacity.
- Determine production and backorder shipment priorities based upon input from Commercial and internal stakeholders.
- Manage production schedule disruptions using planning tools and working with other internal departments.
- Utilize and improve ERP system for procurement and planning, specifically MRP.
- Manage purchase order life cycle (negotiation, creation, maintenance, follow through) to support manufacturing.
- Lead and implement best practices for procurement, strategic sourcing, and cost reductions.
- Manage, predict and analyze excess and obsolete inventory for review and follow up.
- May require up to 25% time spent on assisting and receiving packages and shipments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- Minimum of ~12 years experience in a demand planning, forecasting, supply planning role.
- Experience with logistics, warehousing and distribution.
- Ability to work with large datasets and develop analytic models.
- Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to executive audience.
- Detail oriented and well organized.
- Strong experience in ERP and MRP systems; NetSuite preferred.
- Strong experience using Excel or Google sheets.
Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):
- Experience improving and implementing new processes, especially in ERP systems.
- Working in lifescience/biotech industry with experience with chemical manufacturing processing to semiconductor and instrumentation.
The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $140,000-160,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position, an individual’s skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
