About The Role & Team
We are seeking a Senior Manager, GTM Finance, who will play a critical role in driving topline revenue and ARR modeling, while also integrating into our sales capacity planning and modeling processes. This individual will provide essential financial support to the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborate closely with the Sales leadership team. The ideal candidate will deeply understand the financial and operational dynamics within an enterprise software environment. This position reports to the Senior Director of GTM FP&A.
As a Senior Manager, you will:
- Support the 3-Year Long Range and Annual Budget process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles for key topline metrics such as ARR, Dollar-based NRR, Revenue, Billings, Collections, and RPO.
- Lead topline modeling with upstream funnel metrics for Product-Led Growth (PLG) and drive the FP&A rhythm for the Plus product.
- Support GTM Long Range and Annual Planning by integrating market share analysis with sales capacity modeling.
- Develop a driver-based sales capacity model for topline planning and scenario analysis, aligning with opex budgets for various growth scenarios.
- Foster alignment across GTM leadership in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring resource allocation meets strategic objectives.
- Establish and enhance sales performance reporting frameworks, focusing on sales productivity by geography, segment, and tenure.
- Provide deep insights into SOT topline KPIs and trends, driving automation and consistency in revenue reporting in Tableau.
- Lead the Customer Retention Council, focusing on reducing churn and increasing utilization for top customers.
- Analyze revenue-to-expense ratios to optimize resource allocation and improve sales efficiency.
- Drive maturity in business rhythms, establishing Sales Contribution margin targets through GTM P&Ls and maintaining healthy discounting practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on large deals to maximize gross margins, providing strategic financial advice to executive-level partners.
- Implement and manage scalable policies and processes that optimize financial and revenue operations.
- Be a Strategic Advisor and trusted finance partner and develop strong, collaborative relationships with executive level business partners and key stakeholders in the GTM organization.
You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business, economics, or other relevant field.
- Self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision.
- Rigorous and detail-oriented with the highest regard for accuracy and completeness.
- Strong analytical background with the ability to creatively solve problems with math and a data-driven approach.
- B2B / Enterprise SaaS experience.
- Experience working in a high-growth, rapidly scaling environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partner at all levels.
- Prior experience at the intersection of finance and sales.

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $186,000 - $279,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission).
