Job Description:
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida is seeking outstanding, motivated faculty members who are interested in starting/continuing a career in academic physiatry. The Department is looking for a board eligible/certified physiatrist interested in joining a rapidly growing PM&R Program at one of the premiere medical centers in the South and a top 5 ranked public University. The successful candidate must be an MD or DO board eligible/certified physiatrist with strong clinical and interpersonal skills, a commitment to academic physiatry, including resident and medical student teaching, and scholarship. The ideal candidate would be a non-interventional physiatrist with emphasis on general musculoskeletal care. He/she would be joining PM&R’s at the Ocala Heathbrook location and have exposure to a diverse patient population.
