ResponsibilitiesThe Process/Chemical Engineer will work with process systems, process-mechanical, Bulk Gas delivery and VHP/Gas/Chemical, Industrial Waste lift, collection and treatment, as well as UPW (make-up, primary, and polish loop) systems for multiple ongoing projects through all phases including programming, schematic, design development, construction documents, construction administration, and project close-out.
- Work on project management for engineering-prime projects which includes working with clients as well as generate and track project delivery schedules;
- Facilitate design of engineering plans from preliminary through construction phases;
- Perform analysis and design of industrial buildings/projects;
- Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents, and narratives for non-technical audience explaining engineering concepts to facilitate decision-making;
- Review and produce plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes, standards and guidelines;
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, multi-discipline teams, contractors and governmental agency personnel;
- Domestic travel may be required;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university;
- 5-10 years of experience with process, waste, and ultrapure water (UPW) systems in the semiconductor, petrochemical, or bio/pharmaceutical industries;
- Experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients as a project manager or engineering lead;
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the U.S. or the ability to gain licensure within 1 year of start date;
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks and pipe stress software, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interface.
Base Compensation: $105K- $140K (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
