Overview
AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Compliance Third Party Due Diligence.
Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, and maintain AmTrust's Third-Party Due Diligence (TPDD) program. Review third-party risk assessments, develop tools, and implement procedures to effectively handle third-party risk throughout the third-party lifecycle. Collaborate with all Lines of Business, including: Audit, Information Technology, Compliance, and other areas of the company to provide a comprehensive framework for managing third-party risks. Mitigate third-party risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. Develop, communicate, and ensure adherence to AmTrust's risk policies, procedures, and best practices. Organize and lead remediation efforts. Lead and contribute to special projects including program enhancements, resource coordination, and senior management presentations. Develop and strengthen relationships with business partners and risk control functions. Stay abreast of industry and market events that impact third-party risk management processes. Foster an environment of regulatory awareness and ensure regulatory compliance. Support and monitor ongoing staff education and development in effective risk management.
Qualifications
The position requires a minimum of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in third-party or vendor risk management in any occupational title. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. The position also requires five (5) years of experience in the following: Managing larger and smaller vendor and third-party partners with a proven history of implementing successful, cost-saving programs; Knowledge of the insurance industry, rules, and regulations; Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; Solid communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills; Third-party risk management tools; Third-party onboarding processes; and Ability to create a framework for managing third-party risk.
