Ramboll is seeking motivated and qualified candidates for a Managing Consultant position in our Princeton, New Jersey office. To succeed in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field and their Professional Engineer (PE) certification and/or NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification.
As our new Managing Consultant, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing innovative and sustainable site solutions to an international client base. Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Development and implementation of comprehensive site investigations to characterize contaminants in sediments, soil, air, surface water, and groundwater.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and application to real-world situations.
- Development of remedial options, including technology evaluations and feasibility studies, for all media.
- Overall management (including operation, maintenance, and monitoring) of various environmental remediation systems (e.g., soil vapor extraction (SVE), enhanced in-situ bioremediation (eISB), in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), permeable reactive barriers (PRB), and groundwater extraction and treatment).
- Preparation and evaluation of proposals and remedial cost estimates.
- Management of project budgets and client communications.
- Oversight of site remedial activities and management of subcontractors and field teams.
- Training/mentoring of Consultant and Senior Consultant-level staff.
- Preparation and editing of technical and regulatory reports.
- Participation in marketing and business development plans.
Required Qualifications
For this role, we believe your starting point is:
- Bachelor or Masters of Science or Engineering in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or other engineering or related earth science discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience with site characterization, investigation, and remediation.
- Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, Brownfields and Voluntary regulatory programs, including local state regulatory programs.
- Knowledge of emerging contaminants, ESG, product stewardship and safety, health and safety, PSM, and international regulations is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification and/or NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification is required.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is required.
