Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist performs the range of basic diagnostic radiologic procedures at the medical center and will perform x-rays in conjunction with surgical and other special procedures. Hours will vary based on procedure volumes and staffing requirements and will include working various shifts and taking call as needed. This position will perform in-patient and out-patient procedures in the main hospital as well as UCI Clinics.

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Radiologic Technologist Certificate
- Rad Tech Fluoroscopy Permit, or ability to obtain within six (6) months from date of hire
- ARRT certification
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Venipuncture license/certification
- Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
