We’re searching for a Houdini Pipeline and Tools Technical Director.
Aurora’s Synthetic World & Sensor Simulation team is where you'll collaborate closely with production and workflow leads to strategize and fulfill incoming requests from external teams. This dynamic role involves designing workflows, developing new tools, constructing simulations, and procedural modeling.
In this role, you will
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with production leads to plan and execute project requests.
- Tool Development: Design and improve tools to align with project requirements.
- Team Support: Work closely with team members to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and assist in tracking and resolving any issues.
- Quality Data:Ensure the delivery of high-quality data that meets team and project standards.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in Houdini, including building and managing HDAs and working with the Houdini Python API.
- Proficient in Python development.
- Strong mathematical and algorithmic abilities.

- Enthusiasm for advancing synthetic world and sensor simulation technology.
The base salary range for this position is $168,000-$252,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
