Our Heart & Vascular Team
- Has average door-to-balloon time of 45 minutes for treating heart attacks, placing Novant Health in the top 10 percent nationally.
- Surgical specialists were among the first in the nation approved to use minimally invasive surgical techniques.
- Conducts multidisciplinary conferences to review patients with unusual or challenging vascular conditions.

Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
- Completion of an accredited residency program required
- For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current MD license in appropriate state
- Board certification or eligibility
- Current DEA license required
