What we do:
The Systems Administrator will lead the ongoing maintenance of various Finance systems. Collaborating closely with Finance teams and outside consultants, the System Administrator will handle general system administrative tasks across multiple Finance Systems.
What you'll do:
- Act as primary system administrator for various Finance systems including Coupa, Oracle, Blackline, Kyriba, FastPath, and others.
- Handle the ongoing administration of various Finance systems, including managing user roles and permissions, system environment and release management, data flow and analysis, and integrations and monthly activities.
- Assess new releases of various finance systems to identify any potential administrative improvements or adverse impacts.
- Prepare and review documentation for business processes, system structures, and assumptions for finance systems and continuously identify gaps and opportunities for automation that will streamline workflows and processes.
- Conduct systems analysis, perform root cause analysis, and provide level 1 technical support to end users.
- Complete regular internal system audit requests as required by auditors and compliance team members.
- Collaborate with business users and provide general support including user access, system testing, data reconciliation, and training.
Who you are:
- 2+ years of system administrator experience desired.
- Strong understanding of system maintenance best practices.
- Prior experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
- Excellent skills in MS Office products.
- BS or BA in Business, Information Systems Management, or similar fields.
- Organized, focused, self-directed, and innovative.
- Familiarity with financial management systems is desired, including an understanding of accounting principles, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet, and profit and loss concepts.
- Capable of documenting system administrative activities to cover end-to-end business processes.
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and effectively manage relationships both laterally and upwards.
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $69,900—$128,200 USD.
