Description:
Leads, implements, and manages operational initiatives in support of all Baptist Health practices. Facilitates meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders, providing strategic analysis, and assessments for clients, leaders, or Revenue Cycle counterparts. The Patient Access Operations Director is a cross-functional leader who oversees relevant Patient Access leaders/departments including metrics, KPIs, budget development, process improvement, personnel issues, etc. Interprets policies and procedures, recommends changes as appropriate, and provides relevant feedback to senior executives. Must have a command of organizational agility, be collaborative and assertive, and have experience working to complete projects across various departments, entities, and specialties. Provides creative and strategic foresight to plan effectively for healthcare industry trends and react to unforeseen changes. Collaborates with various product line leaders and executives to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiencies for optimal financial and patient experience outcomes. Practices the BHSF philosophy of service excellence in providing professional, compassionate and friendly service to patients of all ages, families, employees, physicians and community members.
Estimated salary range for this position is $119020.04 - $154726.05 / year depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees: Masters
Additional Qualifications: Master‘s Degree in Healthcare preferred with a min of 6 yrs. exp in healthcare, preferably in Rev Cycle Mgmt, including a min of 5 yrs. leadership exp in a multi-hospital/physician system required. In lieu of Master‘s Degree, a min of 8 yrs. exp in healthcare, preferably in Rev Cycle Mgmt.,including a min of 7 yrs. leadership exp in a multi-hospital/physician system required. National Association of Healthcare Access Mgmt, American Association of Healthcare Administrative Mgmt, or Healthcare Financial Mgmt Association certification preferred. Creative foresight essential to plan effectively for healthcare industry trends & react to unforeseen changes. Strong leadership, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, & interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines. Able to work & collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Assists with the development of system wide standards for Patient Access functions to maximize efficiency/cost effectiveness. Experience with supporting/implementing large scale enterprise-wide system initiatives. Fosters & exemplifies high ethical standards & strategic practices to enhance the success of the organization. Articulates knowledge & understanding of organizational policies/procedures/systems. Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole.
