Reporting to the Director of Sales Compensation Design and Analytics, the Manager of Sales Compensation - Design (the Manager) will assist in the development of the sales compensation plan design, ensuring all plans align with company objectives and drive the desired behaviors that lead to strong company outcomes. The Manager will perform the sales compensation plan effectiveness analysis and lead modeling for plan design changes. The Manager will support the creation and design of sales compensation plans, communication documents, policy, and governance documents.
- Work together win together: The Manager will report to the Director, Sales Compensation – Design & Analytics. This is a highly matrixed organization that will require significant partnership with Executive Leadership, HR, Finance, Total Compensation, and Sales Leadership.
- Innovate with purpose: As the Manager, Sales Compensation - Design, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the design and implementation of Sales Compensation’s annual design process. The manager will lead modeling for plan design and partner with the Manager of Analytics to test plan effectiveness through analytics.
What You’ll Achieve
- Support the Sales Compensation team in their mission to provide best-in-class sales compensation plan design.
- Assist with the sales incentive compensation plan analytics, assessing plan effectiveness and expenses. Contribute to presentations of findings to Sales Leaders and COO.
- Partner with sales leaders and participants to aid in the re-design of plans as well as partner with leaders to ensure plan design will be the most effective.
- Contribute to the development of sales incentive compensation plans that align with the right business outcomes to drive growth.
- Create and distribute plan calculators, plan documents, and training materials for compensation program rollouts.
- Participate in the issue resolution process for responding to escalated issues and questions concerning incentive compensation plan design and policies.
- Support the development and implementation of Compensation Policies working with Finance, Legal, HR, Sales Operations and Sales and Client Services Management.
Who You Are
- What you’ll bring with you:
- 5-7+ years of sales compensation experience in design, development and analytics.
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Expert level Microsoft Office skills including use of PowerPoint and Excel.
- Skill to communicate effectively with internal and external customers of all levels.
- Aptitude to analyze a situation, evaluate options, and solve problems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines.

- Ability to navigate a large, complex organization with more than one revenue channel or sales division.
