What you’ll be doing.
Job Summary:
The EVP, Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of Employee Relations, Internal Communications, DEI, and general Human Resources strategic planning. The EVP, HR provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the Chief People Officer and executive management team. At Generali Global Assistance, we promote and foster a culture of ethics and integrity, that includes accountability for a healthy control environment while supporting regulatory compliance and assuring that our employees complete the required training.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of Executive HR experience.
- Strong strategic, analytic, problem-solving, and organizational skills; a data, process, and metrics-oriented mindset.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations on a local, state and national level with a focus on California employment law.
- Collaborative approach to working with internal customers and experience managing external third-party vendors.
- Team player who responds to challenges with a sense of urgency.
- Superb customer service orientation with outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with varied human resources information systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to travel to all locations up to 25% of time as needed.
Education/Certifications:
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or a related field
Preferred
- Master’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field
- SHRM or HRCI certification
Travel Requirements:
Pay Range: $190,000 - $220,000
Where you’ll be doing it.
This is a hybrid role based out of our San Diego, CA office. As a hybrid role, you will be working onsite 2-3 days a week and working from home 2-3 days a week.
When you’ll be doing it.
While there is some flexibility in the hours, this position will be Monday-Friday during regular business hours (approximately 8:00am-5:00pm). Occasional overtime may be required according to business need.
