Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Controls Governance and Reporting Senior Principal is a key role within the Infrastructure Risk and Control group that will formalize the governance structure around the embedded control analyst function and enhance/manage all Infrastructure Risk and Control reporting. Candidates must possess drive and ability to carve the path of this newly created role. Emphasis will be placed on risk management, control and reporting for the Technology Infrastructure space. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with global partners to mature an internal governance framework for embedded controls analysts and oversee the day-to-day execution of that framework along with associated reporting. The successful individual will build and maintain vital relationships with all facets of the Technology Infrastructure organization and will report to the Director of Infrastructure Risk and Controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formalize and manage an effective risk-minded Controls Governance and Reporting function within the Technology Infrastructure space.
- Provide strategic thinking, thought leadership, and guidance for global embedded control analysts throughout the Infrastructure Towers.
- Develop and maintain reporting for the embedded control analysts effort and other key Support audit and other remediation efforts, including the development and implementation of supporting programs (e.g., training, monitoring, reporting).
- Ability to successfully manage teams objectives, matrixed staff and scope with minimal oversight.
- Establish strong working relationships and communications with key stakeholders globally with the ability to support a point of view.
Qualifications:
- Proven Risk and Control Professional with 12+ years of Internal Audit or Risk Management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Services.
- Solid understanding of financial services related regulations, risks and controls.
- Internal Audit or Risk related Certification (CSIA, CIA, CRISK, etc.) a plus.
- Internal Audit experience working at Big4 is a plus.
- Highly motivated, self-starter who deals well with ambiguity and can drive execution.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, leadership and organizational skills are required.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence and motivate teams across the organization in order to ensure that the slate of work is established, understood, supported and completed.
- Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders of differing viewpoints to reach consensus.
