Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Tax Senior Manager in one of our Northeast, Ohio Offices: (Cleveland, Akron, or Wooster).
The Tax Senior Manager is responsible for most of the tax services within an engagement. These duties include, but are not limited to: managing the tax services with numerous engagements running simultaneously, building and maintaining client relationships, and billing and collection. Tax Senior Managers provide leadership, direction, and coordination of resources and personnel to ensure client satisfaction in the planning and execution of tax engagements. Tax Senior Managers play an important role in the development, coaching, and supervision of subordinates as well as participating in firm growth and management. Incumbents possess industry and technical expertise in accounting and tax theory and principles, as well as strong research and analytical abilities. In addition, the Tax Senior Manager demonstrates proficiency in non-technical areas and seeks opportunities to expand learning.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
To be considered for this Position, Candidates must:
- Have CPA.
- Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) as well as basic knowledge of operating systems.
- Have a minimum of 7 - 10 years of related experience.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrate an aptitude in the following:
- Quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
- Building relationships and leadership ability
- Project management
- Business development
