Location - Chicago, IL (Must be 45 miles or less within Chicago city limits)
Mandatory Workday In Office Training Dates: 9/30/2024 - November 2024 (Monday - Friday).

Requirements (What We’re Looking For):

Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related Financial/IT discipline; or equivalent experience

Experience with Adaptive Planning or other related planning tools (preferred)
-
Experience of extracting data from general ledger and other systems, using SQL or similar (preferred)

1+ years client interfacing or consulting experience (preferred)

Experience with manipulating data in Microsoft Excel using functions and/or macros (preferred)

Knowledge of basic Accounting tools (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Revenue, Expenses, etc.)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
-
Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with clients and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust
-
Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives
-
Ability to travel 25-45%
Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
-
Implement enterprise planning and consolidation solutions using Adaptive Planning
-
Analyze spreadsheet-based financial models across multiple industries and markets
-
Consult with clients on budgeting and planning best practices
-
Work directly with clients, to deliver high-quality Adaptive Planning solutions across multiple industries to meet, enhance and optimize the client’s business needs
-
Work directly with clients, solving Adaptive Planning issues as they arise
-
Actively participate in internal training updates and opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization
-
Attend Adaptive Planning training and become Adaptive certified

The hiring base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At TopBloc, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range salary is $50,000 - $68,000.
