Position Summary
Engineering Program Manager
· Plan, execute and deliver multiple engineering projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
· Support the development of processes to better facilitate the management of activities and handoffs between stakeholders.
· Develop and maintain project plans, project schedules, and project budgets.
· Develop and maintain a master integrated schedule to track Engineering resource loading across all Engineering activities.
· Identify and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, and develop mitigation plans to address them.
· Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, including engineering, projects, sales, product, and quality assurance teams.
· Coordinate project activities with external partners and suppliers.
· Coordinate the handoff from Product Management to Engineering for Product development activities.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure that project requirements are clearly understood and met.
· Ensure that all engineering projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
· Lead regular project status meetings and provide regular updates to project stakeholders and senior leadership.
· Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, and develop their skills and capabilities.
Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
· Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects, from conception to delivery.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
· Experience in managing cross-functional teams and external partners.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
· Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
· Familiarity with Jira and Smartsheets is a plus.
· Experience in the power industry is a plus.
Tools & Equipment
· General office equipment including phones, fax, personal computer.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project.
Certificates/Licenses
· PE License (preferred).
· PMP or PgMP (preferred).

· Travel required. No more than 15% within the U.S. and Canada.
