The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic SVP General Manager of Anda to take full responsibility for achieving corporate P&L goals for the Anda distribution business. This role involves leading strategic initiatives, policy setting, business development, and complex problem solving to drive the company's strategic growth agenda. The SVP General Manager will oversee all commercial activities of Anda, including sales, marketing, distribution, procurement, IT, and finance. This role requires balancing detailed analytical tasks with broad strategic management, ensuring collaboration with the U.S. Generics and Innovative businesses to support corporate strategy and business growth. This role will be based on site in Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and meet the Annual Operating Plan.
- Set and execute strategies for customer acquisition, growth, and retention.
- Drive collaboration among Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, IT, and Operations to optimize business results, involving both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead complex problem-solving initiatives and address strategic issues to support growth and financial expectations, aligning individual business units with overall Teva goals.
- Develop processes and frameworks for policy efforts impacting U.S. pharmaceutical distribution.
- Maintain and enhance external partnerships and customer engagements, including those at the C-suite level.
- Inspire and motivate a dedicated team of experienced professionals, fostering an inclusive and transparent work environment where employees feel valued and heard.
- Complete presentations in support of quarterly earnings and internal executive management meetings.
Your experience and qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive commercial expertise and supply chain leadership experience within the pharmaceutical sector including roles in pharmacy and/or distribution.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent marketplace experience highly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem to facilitate strategic partnerships and business growth; including primary and secondary markets.
- Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive intelligence to adapt strategies to changes in the marketplace.
- Strong leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to lead and inspire through clear direction and expectations.
- Proven ability to communicate strategy clearly to multiple teams and mobilize stakeholders outside of individual span of control.
- Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset to identify opportunities and generate business plans to support business growth and profitability.
- Proven experience with commercial and/or P&L responsibility.
- Experience leading large, cross-functional, and dynamic teams.
- Demonstrated ability in making strategic and data-driven recommendations and decisions.
- Proven track record in driving change within a complex business environment.
- Experience managing a multi-billion-dollar business in the U.S. while developing and maintaining key customer relationships.
Approximately 30% domestic travel throughout the US and Canada.
