The Position
As part of the Technology Solutions team, you will engage in pre-sales activities, collaborating with internal teams, Nitel partners, and customers to deliver tailored solutions for the unique challenges of our enterprise and wholesale clients. You will connect technology with measurable business value during pre-sales activities, focusing on driving the technical aspects of the sales process, including risk assessment and trade-off analysis. Your role involves thinking long-term about business, product, and technical outcomes during pre-sales presentations, technical discussions, and requirements gathering to design effective customer solutions.
Your Playbook
- Assist and support our sales teams through presentations, demos, RFPs, and function as a technical liaison with Engineering.
- Interface via channel community with prospective or current customers to determine technical requirements and expectations.
- Create detailed designs of proposed solutions; solid working knowledge of Visio required.
- Assist in the development of formal sales plans and proposals for sales opportunities.
- Maintain current knowledge of, and consistently communicate, the Nitel brand and company specifics, competitive customer solutions, as well as product strengths and weaknesses.
- Participate in strategic meetings with cross-functional members to identify issues, client requirements, processes, and timelines of final products to be delivered to clients.
- Provide solution and technology training to sales teams and channel partners.
Skills You Bring to the Field
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in a Solution Architect or Sales Engineering role.
- Minimum three years of experience with SD-WAN technologies. VeloCloud, Versa, Fortinet & Netskope platform experience a plus.
- Minimum three years of experience with Firewall technologies. Fortinet & Palo Alto Networks platform experience a plus.
- Knowledge of security infrastructure, XDR, ZTNA, SIEM and threat protection/intelligence solutions.
- Professional-level network experience of TCP/IP, Ethernet, Dynamic Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud Networking.
- Knowledge of network management, datacenters, LAN/WAN, structured cabling, enterprise data network infrastructure.
- Business development and sales process knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to include excellent presentation skills with solid working knowledge of PowerPoint.
