What You'll Do
As our Manager, Sourcing - Electronics, you are responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with best-in-class suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, while supporting and enabling our product innovation pipeline.
This position is remote and will report into the Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT. Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel up to 25% of the time for meetings including vendors, conferences and events.
- Manage and drive the material sourcing, production, and quality control procedures for product development activities, while partnering cross-functionally to execute to brand strategies and financial targets.
- Own vendor communication, sample development and pre-production deliverables for respective product categories.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive best unit economics, while maintaining product quality and timeline.
- Continuously manage risk through stakeholder education on viable end-to-end sourcing and production timelines.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support product placement and cost negotiations.
- Identify, vet, and develop best-in-class electronics suppliers to support our product innovation pipeline.
- Responsible for monitoring supplier performance and leading QBRs with suppliers to review scorecards.
- Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) with a focus on leveraging spend, and COG unit reductions.
- Perform any other reasonable duties for this role as requested by management.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or other quantitative discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the commodity management, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain disciplines, with a specific focus in Electronics, parts and components.
- People management experience is preferred, but not required.
- Maintains the highest level of customer service, creating solutions and experiences that drive business results and engagement with the brand.
- Exemplify each of our Lovesac values, at all times, be results driven and utilize knowledge to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), goals and deadlines.
- Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for meetings and conferences held either at our offices or offsite.
- Must comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook and work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all clients, both internal and external with dignity and respect at all times.
