We seek candidates with at least one (1) year of post-graduate experience performing adult cardiac echocardiograms in a hospital-based setting and holding registry through ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS or ACS) for the role of Cardiac Sonographer (or Senior Cardiac Sonographer, depending on experience). The person in this role will work an 8:00-4:30 pm M-F shift with weekend coverage, must rotate on Saturday. She/he will perform echocardiographic ultrasound studies on varied patient groups, interpret acquired data, and develop preliminary reports according to departmental procedures and job standards. She/he will complete job duties with minimal clinical supervision. She/he will work alongside other sonographer staff in a collegial manner to facilitate the completion of scheduled or ordered echocardiographic exams. She/he will be proficient in providing all clinical modalities offered in the Echo Lab. She/he will contribute to the team dynamic through communication, initiative, and productivity.
Candidates must hold current registry through ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS or ACS). Must have AHA BLS- Basic Life Support. Must have at least two (2) years’ post-graduate experience performing adult cardiac echocardiograms in a hospital setting. Must have excellent communication skills.
