Senior Consultant, Consulting Services
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Consulting Services the Senior Consultant will conduct research and collect, analyze data, play an active role in the problem-solving aspect of engagements, and complete project tasks within scope and budget. A consultant should be competent in analyzing problems and recommending creative solutions. Ability to identify issues and communicate effectively with project manager; work directly with clients to achieve project milestones, and participate in client and internal presentations is a must. In addition, the Consultant must be extremely analytical and have a foundation in data manipulation, be able to research independently and be familiar with hospital data sets and financial data sets.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience: 4 or more years
Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Skills:
- Cost reduction analytics
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Healthcare analytics
Relevant Experience:
- Consulting firm or in healthcare acute-care setting
Education: Bachelor's
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of financial improvement methodologies, including, but not limited to cost reduction and/or supply chain.
- Create spreadsheets, presentations, and other deliverables using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project as necessary for client engagement, accurately and on time.
- Identify potential engagement sources and potential add-on opportunities.
- Assist in proposal development as requested and supports marketing efforts.
- Create, participate, and deliver client presentations.
- Manage day-to-day project initiatives.
- Participate in the creation of client deliverables.
- Lead analysis of business and technical problems and works with team to create innovative solutions.
- Conduct in-depth research to support data analytics.
- Effectively works to create a winning team environment, building positive client and team relationships.
- Work with leadership to identify issues and communicates effectively with engagement leader.
- Work directly with clients to achieve project milestones by participating in client and internal presentations and managing day-to-day client relationships.
- Assist clients in achieving maximum savings and improve process efficiencies.
- Understand and demonstrate best practice financial improvement activities and goals within healthcare.
- Conduct assessments and develop actionable cost reduction strategies/implements lasting solutions.
- Healthcare inventory and logistics experience.

Compensation and Benefits:
Premier's internal salary range for this role is $80,000 - $148,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location.
