Reporting to the SVP of Revenue, the KSL Classifieds Sales Director will be self-motivated, sales-driven, success-focused, and will be responsible for managing a team of outbound/inside Sales account executives.
Core responsibilities of this position include:
- Effective personnel supervision.
- Active lead management.
- Implementation of policies and procedures related to sales activities.
- Execution of department initiatives.
- Forecasting revenue.
- Overall operational reliability.
The position is also responsible for maintaining and increasing revenue through coaching and professional sales training development of account executives, with a basic understanding and experience with Salesforce.com CRM.
Specific requirements of this position include:
- Sales Management experience, 2-4+ years leading an outbound or inside sales team.
- Demonstrated ability to work to a sales goal and manage reports to that goal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing a team of up to 8 direct reports.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Building a team-based work environment.
- Strong ability to build relationships with peers, account executives, and clients.
- Exhibit high levels of integrity, ethical behavior, and professional maturity.
- Proven leadership capabilities including the ability to lead a team of diverse individuals by winning and maintaining their confidence and trust.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, and implement process improvements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated, with attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills & ability to meet deadlines.
Experience Required:
Candidates should have at least 2-4+ years of sales management experience and a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Advertising sales experience and managing a team remotely is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Outstanding project management skills and past experience.
- Excellent communication skills -- written and verbal.
- Self-starter, good at working independently and with a team, flexible, able to meet short deadlines.
- Experience in current Salesforce.com software.
