What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
- Manage and oversee the entire sales team in an assigned region. The sales team includes: field sales consultants, junior and senior territory managers, junior and senior key account managers, national account managers and directors, and the field sales managers.
- Be responsible to achieve the region’s overall sales goals and other performance metrics.
- Assist the sales team in creating and reaching individual and group goals.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with the sales team and the key customers in the region.
- Understand the members of the sales team and provide leadership that will drive growth and goal attainment.
- Provide feedback, skills training, and performance reviews for the senior members of the sales team in the sales region.
- Provide exceptional brand representation for all customers in the sales region.
- Act as a liaison between company executives and the sales team leadership.
- Assist the field sales manager with the creation and delivery of sales trainings and presentations.
- Assist in developing marketing plans and promotions to support opportunities in the area.
- Negotiate annual customer contracts and assist the sales team leadership in negotiations with their customers.
- Act as the authority in the region for resolving all internal and external complaints and issues.
- Review sales reports from the sales team and create executive reports for the entire sales region.
- Monitor competitors’ products and activities and provide executives with updates and suggestions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What You’ll Need (Qualifications):
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 10 years of experience in sales is required.
- 2 years of experience in personnel management is required.
Salary range: $135,000-$192,000
