About Church Hill Landscapes: Nate Carr established Church Hill Landscapes in 2002 out of a deep-seated passion for landscaping and horticulture. Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Construction Project Lead to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, assisting the Project Foreman in executing all aspects of landscape construction projects. The Project Lead will be responsible for overseeing the work of other team members, ensuring quality and safety at all times. Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of landscape projects
- Review and execute project plans and schedules in collaboration with the Project Foreman.
- Ensure all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate various tools and equipment, including heavy equipment, chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Assist the Project Foreman in meeting and exceeding yearly crew production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Preferred experience in the landscape/construction industry.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
Compensation
Starting wage for this position ranges from $22-$25/hr.
