Job Description: L4 - EV Battery Integration Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall battery-vehicle integration for NPI projects.
- Lead battery integration activities and execution with program CFT.
- Review battery pack development and vehicle integration with supplier.
- Lead battery mechanical and electrical integration activities, 3D CAD / 2D drawing review, DMU review and PLM release.
- Lead field issues resolution, status tracking and review.
- Support battery pack testing, DVP development and vehicle level testing.
- Project documentation RFQ, SOR, TRSO, PDSR, DFMEA, DFA, DFS review and signoff.
- Support vehicle proto / production build, build issue resolution and documentation.
- Lead / Support to Indenting and PO formalities.
- Support Thermal engineering, CAE, HV & LV architecture.
- Create and update project tracking documents.
- Budget planning, change management, risk management activities, issue escalation, activity planning, support strategy development, resource management.
Minimum Qualification & Specialization:
Masters in Mechanical Engineering
8-10+ Year Experience in vehicle integration.
Experience in EV battery vehicle integration.
Skills:
- Knowledge of vehicle integration of EV aggregates.
- Knowledge of EV technology, battery technology, cell technology current and future trends.
- Ability to lead team and manage people.
- Detailed knowledge in mechanical / thermal domain, battery development, vehicle integration.
- Lead release process, project documentation, handle field issues.
- Lead DMU study for vehicle integration, structural design, CAE and thermal management.
- Communication skills, project management, project planning, people management.
- Knowledge of project management tools, budget management, resource management.
- Knowledge of EV field issues handling and resolution.
Domain Knowledge:
- Expertise in vehicle integration of EV aggregates.
- Awareness of product development process.
- Awareness of EV systems and sub-systems.
- Knowledge of basic layout / functions inside Battery systems / subsystems.
