Location: This is a remote role within the East & Midwest region. Our candidate can be based anywhere within the region ideally close to a major metro area/airport.
WITHIN YOUR TEAM:
You will identify, develop, manage, and retain revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines. You will directly, or indirectly, manage the process from lead validation to product and services delivery, working with our consulting, marketing, sales operations, and product management teams to ensure that we fulfill our customers’ needs.
Reporting into the VP of Revenue and responsible for overall sales and business development strategies for the East & Midwest region, the Director of Enterprise Sales duties span across:
Strategy:
- Stay on top of industry developments and identify potential opportunities for Pantone to expand its market share and product offerings.
- Work closely with product management and marketing to develop strategies and collect VOC (voice of customers) to meet the organization's goals.
- Work closely with the VP of Revenue to continue to refine Pantone’s commercial strategy.
Growth: Drive targeted growth across the region/ product portfolio.
- Utilize effective sales management skills to maximize sales penetration through strategic planning & competitive strategies in alignment with corporate & regional initiatives.
- Drive new business to achieve revenue goals by hunting for new accounts and new verticals that fit well with Pantone’s solutions offerings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with enterprise-level clients and identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to develop and execute effective sales campaigns and initiatives.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and optimize sales performance.
- Responsible for customer experience which includes sales and delivery, takes proactive steps to meet or exceed overall business targets (including revenue and operating profit).
- Collaborate with Sales Operations team to develop and refine account management and sales practices and processes. Ensure operational hygiene and accurate reporting (SFDC) across the entire sales process from lead generation to revenue recognition.
- Ensures accuracy of sales forecasting through weekly reviews & updates of prospects with sales teams and follows up closely on actual realization.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Consistent track record in sales development and driving sustainable sales growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong hunter mentality with a proven ability to close deals.
- 10+ years of solution sales experience spanning hardware, software (SaaS, Subscription) and creative services. Software sales management/leadership experience a must-have.
- In-depth creative industry knowledge is a plus but not a must have.
- Direct sales and large account management experience is essential.
- Driven by facts and figures, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Have strong hands-on mentality and ability to continue to drive our expansion plans in new and high growth markets.
- Have C-level sales experience and proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong leadership skills.
- English language skills, further foreign language skills are an advantage.

The salary range for this role is $150,000-$175,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
