Consulting Associate, Stormwater Inspector (Entry Level)
ERM is seeking a motivated Consulting Associate, Stormwater Inspector, who is interested in participating in environmental compliance projects in the Denver, CO area.
This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging environmental projects for large industrial and global clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical assistance on environmental compliance, site investigation, and due diligence transaction projects.
- Conduct site inspections to verify environmental compliance at client sites.
- Perform environmental compliance assessments and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare plans, permits, and reports for storm water, NPDES, wastewater programs and hazardous waste.
- Research and document legal environment regulations at the local, state and federal levels.
- Provide general environmental compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance as needed.
- Perform multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
- Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to effectively manage projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors in environmental engineering, chemical/civil engineering, environmental science, biology, chemistry, geology, or other science degree.
- 0+ years of relevant environmental compliance experience or professional internships.
- Ability to conduct fieldwork assignments.
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- 1+ years of relevant environmental compliance experience or professional internships.
- Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
- Local candidates.
For the Consulting Associate, Stormwater Inspector position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $60,475 – $70,440 USD. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary based performance bonus.
