The Senior Director is responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic enrollment plan for the Graduate School in collaboration with the VP of Enrollment Management and for managing the execution of measurable goals (i.e., being within an acceptable target for enrollment of each class) and objectives (i.e., ensuring quality throughout each of the programs). As it currently stands, graduate enrollment includes 5 MBA programs, 3 MS programs and 1 certificate program for a total annual enrollment of approximately 700 entering students annually. Each program requires distinct recruiting efforts and tactics with enrollments spanning 12 months per year with some programs having 2-3 admissions cycles annually.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop enrollment strategies that ensure the growth of Babson’s national and international reputation as well as advance the graduate school’s enrollment goals, particularly as they relate to quality and future success.
- Guide institution-wide conversations and plans that encompass critical graduate enrollment decisions with regard to institutional reputation, market demand, economic and cultural diversity, equity, and academic quality.
- Collaborate with the VP for Enrollment and Graduate Associate Deans’ Office in promotion of new academic programs to solidify and enhance the College’s revenue stream.
- Effectively use data to guide enrollment decisions; responsible for all admission and enrollment reporting and for educating the College community regarding enrollment strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain and further develop relationships with faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, and other external constituencies to assist in accomplishment of enrollment goals.
- Coordinate relationships between Graduate Admissions and key constituents and departments on campus (Program Faculty Directors, Student Financial Services, Graduate Student Services, Career Services, and more) to represent a wide-variety of enrollment goals and interests.
- Serve on appropriate college-wide committees and task forces, as needed.
- Represent the College in various professional organizations, at national and regional conferences, and on committees and panels.
- Direct all efforts related to the Graduate Admission team including the effectiveness, relevancy, and value of all activities. Ensure alignment between Graduate Admissions and the Graduate School’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement, in collaboration with the VP for Enrollment Management and College Marketing, a strategic Enrollment and Marketing plan for all graduate programs that aligns with the Graduate School’s goals.
- Direct and manage all Graduate School recruitment, in Wellesley, Boston, Miami, and other locations, if appropriate.
- Anticipate, respond to, and ensure the measurement, analysis, and improvement in outcomes of internal surveys and national and global rankings to enhance the Babson brand and image.
- Responsible for efficiently managing budgets while continually identifying and improving upon fiscal management and executing the budget in pursuit of appropriate objectives.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
- Master’s Degree required (MBA or M.Ed. preferred)
- A minimum of 10+ years of increasingly responsible leadership roles within the field of admissions and a minimum of 7 years of experience managing staff and a budget
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive admissions strategy and provide vision and leadership.
- Experience working with an effective CRM, Salesforce preferred.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working with a diverse student body, faculty, staff, and other constituents.
- Must have proven leadership experience with demonstrated success in enrollment management in a fast-paced environment and competitive market.
- Must demonstrate excellence in relationship management, customer service, judgment, and leadership capabilities.
- Must demonstrate a passion for and history of approaching challenges with new ideas and a high degree of energy.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
- Required to travel internationally and domestically.
- Works evenings/weekends.
- Must have had a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver’s License for one year, and maintain throughout employment an insurable (as determined by the College’s insurer’s criteria) or a satisfactory driving record; must successfully complete and pass the College’s vehicle training program within the first 60 days of employment; annual or more frequent review of employee’s driving record based on the College insurer’s criteria; and safety training as required by management.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE
- Previous experience in systems such as Salesforce and Workday a plus.
