We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Sales team as an Executive Meeting Manager.
Here is what you will be doing each day:
- Responds in a timely manner to incoming group/catering business opportunities.
- Ensures that all business is booked within hotel parameters.
- Conducts hotel site inspections and client presentations.
- Creates contracts and other related booking documentation as required. Manages and maintains client account files.
- Prospects for new business – participates in sales blitzes, cold calling and contacting former clients to solicit new business and attends industry events/programs as needed.
- Builds and maintains strong client relationships.
- Details events to include all food & beverage, set up and audio visual needs. Asks appropriate questions of the clients and makes suggestions to ensure the details meet the group and the hotel’s needs.
- Creates group resumes and communicates client needs to all departments of the hotel. Ensures hotel staff follows through on all requests.
- Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
Salary Range: $67,000 to $70,000.

Qualifications
Hospitality experience preferred.
