Summary
R1 product managers are driven to make a difference in healthcare, by re-thinking the patient experience, reducing the administrative burden on physicians, and ensuring our clients can focus on patient care. The product team is responsible for driving delivery of critical roadmap capabilities. Product Manager IIs lead the delivery of the roadmap, manage the product backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. The PM II takes strategic direction from product management and lead in the design and delivery of functional, technology-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Understand our business and maintain a customer focus
- Own maintenance backlog including prioritization where needed and executive communication on status and themes.
- Interface with engineering team to provide detailed functional requirements.
- Write stories and acceptance criteria; Refine backlog by leading grooming calls with engineering team
- Collaborate with experienced product owners on larger EPICs as needed.
- Act as main point of contact for your technology, interacting with business leaders and end users.
- Quickly identifying blockers, developing a mitigation strategy or escalating to leadership where needed
- Willingness to travel 20-30%.

Required Qualifications
- Extensive demonstrated experience in product management.
- Mastery of Agile fundamentals with demonstrated experience to drive execution within an Agile environment.
- Honed verbal and written communication skills for business and technical audiences
- Solid problem-solving background with good organizational skills
- Exposure to high-level technology paradigms (e.g. data flows, APIs, services)
- Experience interfacing directly with technology leaders and engineers
