Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Become a member of our global Health and Safety team and develop collaborative working relationships with our industrial hygienists, safety professionals, toxicologists and epidemiologists.
- Contribute to the growth of client-facing health, safety and industrial hygiene practice by delivering high-quality work, stewarding and proactively developing client relationships, and diligently identifying opportunities to offer additional value-added services to our clients.
- Execute consulting engagements at client facilities in the manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, extractives, power, energy, construction, transportation, telecoms and services sectors.
- Perform EHS compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Evaluate worker exposures to hazardous substances and develop strategies for improvement.
- Develop, evaluate, implement and improve written health and safety programs including hazard communication, hearing conservation, lockout / tag-out, respiratory protection, electrical safety, confined space entry, fall protection, burning/welding, powered industrial trucks, safe work permit, contractor safety, material handling, personal protective equipment, blood-borne pathogens, ergonomics, etc.
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Support development of occupational, health and safety management systems in accordance with ISO 45001 or similar standards.
- Prepare company-level or facility-level policies, procedures and standards for occupational, health and safety management.
- Learn to generate and follow up on leads and write proposals for health, safety and industrial hygiene opportunities.

- Degree in industrial hygiene, safety, public health or a closely related discipline, with 4+ years of experience in Health & Safety management.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certifications highly desired.
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational Health & Safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering presentations as well as writing comprehensive technical reports and standards.
- Strong MS Office computer skills; advanced understanding of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word desired.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines, and traveling to client locations as needed.
- Accomplished in managing client expectations and developing new business with corporations and law firms.
- Ability to travel approximately 25 - 50% per month. Travel is typically of short duration (1-2 days) and may be local or throughout the US, depending on project needs (must have a valid driver’s license).
