POSITION SUMMARY:
We're looking for an experienced General Manager who shares our commitment to excellence in property management to lead our luxury short-term rentals in Telluride, Colorado. You are our ideal candidate if you have a proven track record in property management, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the highest property maintenance and safety standards.

EXPECTATIONS IN A DAY:
A typical day involves conducting property inspections, coordinating with your team to address maintenance issues, and ensuring seamless guest experiences. You will need to enjoy interacting with guests, handling urgent maintenance requests, and maintaining our high standard of property care. Working as a team player with housekeeping staff and property managers will also be vital in ensuring properties are guest-ready at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations of luxury rental properties, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance and safety needs, ensuring that property grounds and amenities such as hot tubs and beaches are clean, presentable, and meet company standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other property systems/components.
- Implement preventative maintenance tasks to avoid major issues.
- Coordinate with property managers to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks and collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely turnover of rental homes.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests from guests and property managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma REQUIRED
- 3+ years of experience in managing a team of people
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and possess a valid driver's license.
- Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably in the hospitality or property management industry.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general building maintenance for troubleshooting purposes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Must have a smartphone and prior experience using computer-based work order systems and/or desktop computing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 based on experience and achievement
On Target Earnings (OTE), including commissions: $95,000 to $120,000 annually
