Reporting directly to the President & Chief Executive Officer, the CMO ensures high-quality care for over 200,000 patients in our community. The successful candidate must possess extensive clinical expertise as a physician, proven leadership experience and exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve disagreements and conflicts productively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess extensive clinical expertise as a physician, proven leadership experience, and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Serve as a member of the Executive Steering Council (ESC)
- Ensure that reporting departments work collaboratively across the health system to implement strategic objectives and best practices
- Build a physician-driven strategy that promotes engagement and positive relationships with physicians and medical staff
- Actively engage in community activities, participate on local boards, and engage in charitable organizations involved in community improvement and community health
