A law firm in Montvale, NJ, is seeking a highly experienced Commercial/Litigation Trial Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience, possess a strong background in handling challenging and complex cases, and demonstrate expertise in various aspects of commercial litigation.
Duties:
- Handle commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution, including client intake, discovery, case management, and trial representation.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and courtroom proceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to effectively manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and thorough case records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admission to the New York State Bar is a plus.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation and trial practice.
- Proven track record of success in handling complex commercial litigation matters.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
Education and Certifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
