As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing experience for our insurance-related web applications. Your primary focus will be on the front end development of our insurance solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and industry-specific solutions.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Develop and implement responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with designers and back end developers to translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional user interfaces tailored to the insurance industry's needs.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and other web services specific to the insurance industry to retrieve and update data in real-time.
- Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and platforms for insurance-related systems.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards, with a focus on insurance-specific requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects and compatibility issues within the insurance domain.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the insurance industry context.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front end development, including React.js, JavaScript frameworks, and API integrations relevant to insurance solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to peers while considering insurance industry-specific challenges.
The Experience You Will Bring- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in front end development using React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of modern UI/UX design principles and responsive web design.
- Experience with API integrations and asynchronous request handling using technologies such as REST, GraphQL, or WebSockets.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Gulp, and package managers such as npm or Yarn.
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
What Will Make You Stand Out- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) and test-driven development is a plus.
- Knowledge of backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express) is a plus.
- Experience in the insurance industry, understanding industry-specific challenges and requirements, is highly desired.

Base Pay RangeThe base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$98,100.00 - $119,900.00
