The Director, Sales Operations will be a part of the Americas Commercial Team at Telix managing the Sales Operations department. Reporting directly to the CEO, Americas, this role will have three direct reports: Sales force Administrator, Sr. Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst, and Strategic Accounts contract administrator. They will work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment with partners in IT, Finance, Legal and Market Access and other supporting functions within the business.
While providing leadership, coaching and oversight to their direct reports, this individual will also manage the planning and execution of different support platforms for the commercial sales team to assist in driving field team outcomes and oversee key areas such as incentive compensation, KPI tracking and reporting dashboards.
Key Accountabilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with Telix’s business objectives, ensuring revenue growth and market expansion.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to assess sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning: Oversee the development of accurate sales forecasts, working closely with the sales team, finance, and other stakeholders to align projections with business goals.
- Revenue Management: Oversight of the revenue management process specifically in rebates, including accuracy and use reporting.
- Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring seamless collaboration between sales, marketing, and other relevant departments.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate, implement, and manage sales technologies and tools to enhance productivity, including Salesforce, Power BI, and other relevant software.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing sales operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure professional development and achievement of departmental goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure alignment and collaboration in achieving overall business objectives.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure sales operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Identify and work with legal partners to mitigate potential risks to the business.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years in sales operations or finance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Radiopharmaceutical experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and optimizing sales strategies, processes, and technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
