Responsibilities:
- Sales Management & Coaching:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet branch and company goals
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to loan officers to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge
- Monitor and evaluate loan officers' performance, providing feedback and development plans
- Conduct regular sales meetings to motivate and inform the team about new products, policies, and market trends
- Loan Origination:
- Take over the personal origination production from the Branch Manager’s referral partners
- Manage the end-to-end loan origination process, including application intake, documentation, underwriting, and closing
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Referral Partner Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners to drive business growth
- Develop strategies to expand the referral partner network
- Provide exceptional service to referral partners, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
- Operational Support:
- Assist the Branch Manager in the overall management of branch operations
- Ensure efficient and effective branch processes and workflows
- Support the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance productivity
- Leadership & Development:
- Serve as a role model and leader within the branch, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new loan officers and staff members
- Customer Service:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout the loan process
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Having an NMLS license is not required, but is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team
- College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
- At least 5+ years of professional office environment required, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant
