The Role
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, provisioning, monitoring and maintaining cloud automation framework. Successful candidate will have basic knowledge in systems engineering and cloud automation, be a critical thinker, and a scripter with strong coding skills that will be used to automate repeatable tasks. Additionally, the candidate must be highly organized with strong communication skills and a mindset for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement automation using CICD pipeline and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Installation, maintenance, upgrade, troubleshooting, and support of cloud-based software applications in a large enterprise systems environment.
- Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and scalability of applications
- Implement and Maintain version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.
- Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 2 + years of experience in the job offered or in software/systems development
- Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD
- Hands-on experience required on the following tools: Jenkins, GitHub, AWS, Python, Linux
- Knowledge or experience of the following technologies is highly preferred: ELK Stack, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Postgres, and NoSQL
