Location: Skillman, NJ Kenvue’s corporate headquarters is currently located inSkillmanNJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit,NJin or around early 2025.
Travel %: 10%
Pay: $113-195,500K
What You Will Do
Senior Tax Manager, North America
This position reports into the Director of U.S. Tax Compliance and is currently based in Skillman, NJ. This role will eventually be based in Summit, NJ beginning in 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Review of North America (U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico) income tax returns and workpapers prepared by co-source provider(s) for accuracy, completeness, and disclosure.
- Lead the U.S. Federal Consolidated Return process for domestic and U.S. International filings.
- Collaborate with the International Tax Director on Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, Sec. 163(j), BEAT, foreign tax credit and other international items included on the US Consolidated Tax Return.
- Assist the International Tax Director with Country-by-Country Reporting and future OECD – Pillar 2 reporting requirements.
- Lead the U.S. State Return process related to unitary and nexus combined filings.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Tax Planning, Tax Reporting, Tax Technology, Transfer Pricing, Tax Disputes, and the Controller’s Group.
- Oversee the execution of quarterly estimated tax payments for North America.
- Advise the Tax Planning team on the effects of proposed or enacted federal, state, and local tax legislation.
- Provide U.S. tax compliance input and analysis for acquisitions, divestitures, and internal restructurings.
- Assist with the integration of tools to drive efficiencies and standardization across the compliance process.
- Ensure strong internal control environment including compliance with all SOX and internal audit requirements.
QualificationsWhat We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate tax or public accounting.
- Prior experience and strong knowledge of U.S. Federal and State Corporate Tax Return review is required.
- Candidate must possess strong collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with cross-functional teams inclusive of non-tax personnel.
- The ability to anticipate changing requirements and effectively plan across the enterprise landscape.
- Individual must work well in a team environment; be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree or professional certification such as an MBA, MST, CPA, etc.
- Prior experience with Canada and/or Puerto Rico Income Tax Returns.
- Prior experience in managing a co-source provider.
- Experience with Corptax, SAP, ONESTREAM, and ONESOURCE experience.
