The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy/ Immunology, and Sleep Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine / Riley Hospital for Children is recruiting a full-time outpatient allergist. IUSM is the largest medical school in the country and has the only academic allergy-immunology program in the state.
Position and Program Highlights:
- The Division is ranked among the top eight pediatric programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
- Candidates may opt to see a mix of pediatric and adult patients or focus on one age range only.
- Join six board certified allergists and two advanced practice providers.
- Indiana's only multidisciplinary program for eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases.
- Partnership with the Indiana Department of Health for analysis of all abnormal newborn screenings for severe combined immune deficiencies (SCIDs).
- Recognized for distinction in clinical care by Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE). Our division performs hundreds of food challenges annually.
- Specialized services offered through High Risk Asthma Program, Center for Immune Dysregulation, and Immuogenetics Program.
- Dedicated to advancement through research and various studies: a multicenter clinical study through PARK, DBV peanut patch studies for toddlers, and oral immunotherapy peanut allergy trials for Palforzia.
- Clinician-educator faculty appointment, with benefits through IUSchool of Medicine.
- Full-time outpatient position with nice work/life balance of limited in-house call requirement and equitable monthly home call rotation.
Qualifications:
- BC/BE in internal medicine or pediatrics, and allergy/immunology fellowship.
- Indiana medical license, or ability to obtain.
